Thank You Thomas The Tank
Well, it's happening. We were going to begin over Memorial Day weekend, but with the rain and cold weather this week, it just seemed natural to start. It's potty training time! Patrick had been wearing his underwear and telling Mommy that he is a Big Boy. He doesn't want to wear diapers anymore. That is such a clear sign! So, this morning he told me he wanted to wear his Thomas The Tank underwear and so we are going to go for it. Wish me luck!

Tata's Happy
January 21, 2010: This morning, I was greeted by my little boy bright and early. For the first time, Patrick quietly managed to open his bedroom door, then came to our bedroom. Greg checked the video monitor and when he couldn't see him, he opened the door and found Patrick trying to open the door. He said, "Hi Dad!" Then, he saw his mama, and crawled into bed with her. It was the best snuggle time ever!
In the afternoon, Patrick helped mama clean all the dog hair off the carpets. First, he began using his Fisher Price vacuum cleaner, but quickly took over mama's. After we finished cleaning, we sat on the couch and watched an episode of Dora. He loves to watch Dora.
Late afternoon, he came up to me and told me, "Mom, mom, Tata's happy". Those words just melted my heart. I love my son!
